2021 Congress – OLD HOME

MIDLIFE AND MENOPAUSE: Perception in the Pandemic

Join us 26-28 November 2021 in Adelaide as we share our experiences and the knowledge gained as we have all adapted in our approaches to Midlife and Menopause issues across the pandemic.

This year’s conference offers you a stimulating scientific program designed to inform while encouraging time for reflection and renewal. The conference venue is adjacent to a vibrant market and restaurant precinct, with the coast a brief tram ride away.

Our national and international speakers will explore the latest research across a range of topics including ageing and its resistance and gender differences affecting metabolic, immune and cardiac function. We will look at breast cancer and sleep. Telehealth, conflict resolution and time management are topics relevant for all of us.

Our clinically focused and always popular Pre-Congress Menopause Essentials Update will again cover all aspects of menopause management.

So join us, renew old acquaintances and make new connections in Adelaide in November 2021.

Why Attend

The format for the 2021 Congress includes plenaries with invited speakers and proffered papers, company organised symposia, poster presentations, workshops and several social events.

This gives all those involved with the Congress the opportunity to learn valuable knowledge, meet experts in the field and establish new networks and grow existing ones, all in an enjoyable, friendly and relaxing environment.

Delegate Profile

We expect that around 300 delegates from a wide range of backgrounds will attend the AMS Congress.  The majority will be Australian and New Zealand General Practitioners who work in all aspects of women’s mid-life health.  The Congress will also attract Gynaecologists and Obstetricians, Endocrinologists, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Cardiac Specialists and others.  It means that delegates are interested in learning information related to cardiovascular disease, fertility, mental health, osteoporosis, cancer, diabetes and all areas of preventative medicine.
