OnAIR Platform

For the 2021 hybrid meeting, we will be using a platform called OnAIR by EventsAIR.

Just like at the face to face meeting, attendees can visit the virtual exhibition hall and engage with exhibitors. Attendees can view exhibitor information, download brochures, and when the exhibition is open, engage in instant meetings with exhibitors.

OnAIR is a fully integrated and secure platform optimised for fully virtual events as well as hybrid events.

Delegate Profile

We anticipate that approximately 250 – 300 delegates from a wide range of backgrounds will attend the AMS Congress. The majority will be Australian and New Zealand General Practitioners who work in all aspects of women’s mid-life health.

The Congress will also attract Gynaecologists and Obstetricians, Endocrinologists, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Cardiac Specialists and others.

It means that delegates are interested in learning information related to cardiovascular disease, fertility, mental health, osteoporosis, cancer, diabetes and all areas of preventative medicine.

Host Organisation

The Australasian Menopause Society (AMS) is the peak body representing doctors and other health care professionals who have a special interest in women’s midlife health, the menopause and the promotion of healthy ageing. The aim of the AMS is the advancement of knowledge about the menopause.

As well as holding an annual scientific Congress in Australia & New Zealand, some AMS members are involved with the Asia-Pacific and International Menopause Societies, recognizing that women living in Australia and New Zealand may have widely differing experiences of menopause.

Opportunities for Sponsorship & Exhibition

We also invite any new proposals you may wish to put forward; the Committee is happy to negotiate a package that will be of maximum benefit to your organisation and the meeting.

Applications from companies wanting to promote non-TGA registered goods or devices will be required to provide Level 1 Evidence to the AMS Board for assessment as a potential sponsor.

All sponsorship packages have been designed to comply with the Medicines Australia Code of Conduct. Sponsorship funds used in onsite social functions are allocated to food and beverage only. Any entertainment at a function is provided by the delegate registration fee.

The program committee is interested in including industry professionals in the program where and when appropriate so as to bring relevant industry perspectives to the Congress. We welcome any approaches from interested companies and organisations with ideas or suggestions to enhance the meeting.

Trade partners are invited to submit proposals for symposia run in conjunction with the Congress. These can be held during Lunch on Friday or Breakfast on Saturday or Sunday. Accepted sessions will be included in the online registration process and will be promoted via the website and email bulletins. When conflicting requests are received, priority will be given to applications from Diamond and Platinum sponsors.

The symposium can be either onsite or online and streamed via the online portal to all delegates to view.

Adelaide Onsite Congress Benefits

  • Use of one of the Congress rooms booked by the Organising Committee
  • Provision of the standard AV facilities being used by the Congress (screen, lectern, PA, projector)
  • Complimentary session passes for presenters involved in the session (not applicable to delegates)

All other costs, including any catering, are to be met by the applicant. The final time slots on offer and whether your proposal can proceed are at the determination of the Program Committee. The hosting organisation should formally submit to Conference Design, details of their proposal including:

  1. the proposed/preferred date, time and location of the activity
  2. the proposed name of the activity
  3. the nature of the activity
  4. planned speakers and their topics if applicable

EXHIBITION 

$4,600 ex. GST

This package incorporates an onsite exhibition with a trade registrations as well as an online exhibition display in the AMS Online Portal.  The onsite exhibition will run for the duration of the congress with catering served in the exhibition area.  The Welcome Reception will also be held in the exhibition area. 

The online portal will remain open for 3 months post congress.  While the online exhibition will be open for meetings and interactions with delegates only during the congress days, delegates can still visit your “stand” and download information for the duration of the portal.
