We will review the contraceptive options which are available and most appropriate for use around the time of perimenopause. We will discuss tailoring the options to a patient based on her prior use of contraceptives, medical history, pros and cons of each option, her preferences and what she may be trying to achieve with regard to perimenopausal symptom management, in addition to contraception.
