Presentation Overview
Menopause is definitely having a moment right now. And while it is great to see more open discussion of menopausal symptoms and issues there is no doubt that this has provided an opportunity ripe for exploitation. Access to social media has supercharged the reach of dubious menopause experts and allowed them to influence a much wider world audience than would have been possible in the past.
In this session our two speakers will address various concerning aspects of current menopausal misinformation. They will suggest ways of sifting reliable information from the dodgy and evidence-based care from self-interest. This will be followed by a facilitated panel discussion using questions submitted by the audience.
