Professor Anne MacGregor

Anne is a Specialist in Headache and Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare. She works at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine, St Bartholomew’s Hospital, London, and has an academic post in Neuroscience at Queen Mary, University of London. Her research and clinical work bridges neurology and reproductive medicine and her Doctoral thesis was on the role of oestrogen in menstrual migraine. In addition to her training in headache medicine, she is an accredited menopause specialist and trainer for the British Menopause Society (BMS) and the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare (FSRH), and is a member of the BMS Medical Advisory Council. She received the Elizabeth Garrett Anderson Award, which is awarded to a woman whose work over time has made an extraordinary contribution to those affected by the burden of headache.
