Headache and migraine increase in prevalence during menopause but often go undiagnosed and are poorly managed.

This presentation will provide delegates with simple tools to diagnose migraine with and without aura. We will review the pathophysiology of migraine during perimenopause and consider how these different types of migraine change over the course of the menopause transition. Finally, we will address the risks and benefit of HRT in women with migraine and consider alternative non- hormonal options that can benefit both migraine and menopause symptoms.
