Dr Amanda Beech

Amanda Beech is an Obstetric Medicine Physician and Endocrinologist at the Royal Hospital for Women and the Prince of Wales Hospital, Randwick, and holds a conjoint lecturer position at the University of New South Wales. She has a breadth of clinical experience in women’s health across all ages, particularly reproductive endocrinology and obstetric medicine, menopause and prevention of secondary fracture in men and women with osteoporosis.

Having been a secondary school teacher before her medical training, Amanda has a passion for medical education, which has seen her invited to speak at a number of SOMANZ conferences, RANZCOG Diplomates evenings, and registrar training days and she has developed the Simulation Training Centre at the Royal Hospital for Women. She currently sits on the councils for SOMANZ and ISOM, and has been actively involved with the Heart Foundation in their work on long term cardiovascular outcomes after pre-eclampsia and gestational diabetes.
