Dr Anne-Marie Rees

Consultant Psychiatrist and Senior Staff Specialist, Royal Hospital for Women – Perinatal and Women’s Mental Health

Dr Anne-Marie Rees is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Senior Staff Specialist at the Royal Hospital for Women specialising in Perinatal and Women’s Mental Health. She has recently led the development of the first Hormone and Mood Clinic in NSW at the Menopause Hub at The Royal. Anne-Marie is a Conjoint Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Psychiatry and Mental Health, UNSW Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of NSW. She also Chairs the NSW Section of Perinatal and Infant Psychiatry for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and Chairs a national peer review group for psychiatrists in the area of Hormones and Mental Health. Anne-Marie is very grateful to all her amazing colleagues who have been on the journey with her in order to upskill in the area of hormones as related to psychiatry and to her patients and the community more broadly for sharing their struggles and for their interest in this important area
