Dr Jane Elliott AM

Dr Jane Elliott AM, has been a general practitioner in Adelaide for many years, with a special career interest in women’s health, including menopause, premature menopause and osteoporosis. She is a Clinical Senior Lecturer in the Discipline of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Adelaide University and is involved in teaching medical students, GPs and RANZCOG trainees. She has been an investigator in clinical research trials in many areas of women’s health and is a Life Member and Past President of the Australasian Menopause Society. Jane is a current member of Healthy Bones Australia National Consumer and Community Advisory Committee.  As well as lecturing to the health professions, Jane is interested in talking to non-medical groups to demystify menopause and explain the evidence in current research. In 2023 she received a Member of The Order of Australia award for significant service to medicine and to women’s health.
